My Story (Not the Corporate Version)

I didn’t start in a boardroom.
I started in the real world, where customers are local, relationships matter, and you have to figure things out because there is no playbook.

The Foundation: Building From the Ground Up (1995–2004)

My career began at Penn-Plax (1995–2004), where I helped launch and grow the Diamond Dealer direct-to-consumer program in my region.

It was a brand-new channel.
No roadmap.
No precedent.
No proven process.

I was the test market.

That’s where I learned how to:

  • build demand from nothing
  • create new sales ecosystems
  • translate products into stories people understand
  • turn attention into trust

Long before “digital marketing” was even a term.


The Founder Years: From Idea to Income (2005+)

In 2005, I founded Child Smart ID, building the business completely from scratch.

I was:

  • the product creator
  • the marketer
  • the salesperson
  • the operations team
  • the fulfillment department
  • the data security officer

For several years, it was my sole income.

That experience taught me something most marketers never have to learn:

If you treat people like people, they trust you.
And when people trust you, they buy.


The SaaS & Enterprise Builder Era (2011–2021)

From there, I moved into enterprise technology and SaaS, continuing what I do best: building systems where none existed.

DataBank (2011–2016)

I was hired into a brand-new regional business development role and became the test model for how the company would generate new sales.

No script.
No funnel.
No playbook.

I built the process.

Data Preservation Solutions (2015–2021)

I was the marketing department.

From zero presence to full market visibility:

  • brand positioning
  • messaging
  • campaigns
  • content
  • sales enablement
  • lead generation

If it needed to exist, I built it.


The Breakthrough: Digital Door-to-Door (2021–2025)

In December 2021, I joined Rise Broadband.

By February 2022, I had pioneered what became known as their “digital door-to-door” strategy using community-driven, relationship-based social marketing to pre-book fiber customers in rural markets.

While most telecom brands were selling specs and speed, I was selling:

  • relief
  • reliability
  • peace of mind
  • better daily life

Using storytelling, humor, seasonality, animals, metaphors, and human connection.

It worked.

I pre-booked fiber.
I built trust at scale.
I turned social media into a front porch.

Once again, I didn’t follow a playbook.
I built one.

The Throughline

When I step back and look at every chapter of my career, a clear pattern emerges.

Across every chapter of my career, for nearly three decades, my role has remained the same:

I walk into ambiguity.
I build clarity.
I design ecosystems.
I turn chaos into structure.
I turn noise into visibility and confusion into direction.

That’s how Make It Memorable was born.

Not as a pivot.
But as the culmination of everything I’ve built since 1995.

That’s not just how I work. It’s how I see the world.
